Could have been a different game ,had the goal been noticed by the ref...at that time Germany were 'on the back foot'....just like that 'hand of God' Maradona goal many years ago.

But after that mistake by the ref, the England team fell apart, which shouldn't have happened.

England got screwed hard on that blown call. It's not about being a sore loser, it was absolutely ridiculous. That goal could've changed the entire complexion of that game, and I don't have a stake in it, although the wife is German.

It is crazy that they dont have use technology n FIFA sayin ref errors are part of the game....dat sux... ....when games like cricket have opted for it....

yes but cricket is way more boring to watch than football!

Also - excuses excuses. A one game with a one goal deficit should have still been played as a drawn game until the last 10 minutes. England played as if it had the clearly inferior team and it would take a miracle to bring them back into the game. They were penalized with two more goals against them.

Don't blame the ref, some inconsistency is in football for a reason - it gives fans something to be passionate about. Blame the coach that didn't prepare his players. And blame the clearly inferior skill level of the British.
