Could anyone give me a heads up on the ideal product for registry clean up? Such as Regcure or Norton Utilities?

Been advised not to bother.

What to do

Both good choices here Fart, and they're free. 8) Make sure to do a housecleaning in add/remove programs first, then use your reg cleaning program of choice. When using the reg cleaning program, be sure to back up the registry BEFORE running the clean part. The worst case scenario is you'll need to reimage the drive and that's not such a bad thing. A nice fresh OS install is good once in awhile.

That is what a tech head at 'PC World' (UK based computer/electronics outlet) said, even though the store sold Norton utilities, Mcafee regicure
